My preference is to respect the natural resorses available to us. I have a background in environmental science and prefer to use this knowledge to garden for a sustainable future. I will however only garden totally organically if that is the customers request. I like to garden to encourage wildlife which I feel is always a valuable part of the garden. Please refer to some of my policies below.

1/ Timber products locally milled and sourced from English sustainable woodlands wherever possible.

2/ Peat free composts supplied unless requested by the customer.

3/ Organic approved pesticides used by preference, where I consider these are effective, and all chemicals used with consideration for wildlife.

4/ On site composting encouraged and facilitated where suitable. This, and the local green waste bin service, is also the most cost effective solution for garden rubbish.

English grown Oak milled to order is used to construct this quality decking.

Wild flower meadows like the one illustrated can take a long time to establish but act as a magnet for wildlife.

A simple 6' by 6' compost bin made from waste timber is adiquate for the grass cuttings and leaves in this area but a two bin system would be needed for including garden weeds.

Keeping roses to this standard requires the use of pesticides and fungicides but care is always taken to use these chemicals when Bees are not active on the blooms.
